What:
We will be occupying both floors of this event venue with a wide selection of authors offering book sales, signings, merchandising and general meet and greet opportunities. There will be a book fair selling all kinds of independent UK books (plenty of them award-winning and/or nominated) plus a superb raffle giving away signed paperbacks and other great gifts. We also hope to offer entertainment throughout the day from authors and other literary groups from the local area, check back at the blog for listings on these bookings as they happen.Whilst the event will be free to on-foot patrons on the day, tickets booked in advance offer guests extra opportunities such as guaranteed entry (if the venue is full at any point on-foot patrons will be asked to come back, whilst ticketed guests may come and go as they please), 5 free entries into the prize raffle and an AuthorCon goody bag upon arrival. Additional perks such as discounts and offers available to ticket-holders will be announced as they become available here on the blog.

Parking
There are various NCP parking facilities around Madlab. The environs is metered from 8am to 8pm, and the front of MadLab is reserved for deliveries only – only vans are allowed to park there for short periods.
Bike locking facilities are available on Thomas St. MadLab only has space for small folding bikes, unfortunately."
